  • Direct Support Professional

    The role of the DSP is to provide direct support for people with a developmental disability in every way possible to facilitate personal growth and relationship building. They are responsible for the atmosphere of their assigned program as a secure, safe, FUN, clean pleasant place to live. It is the MOST important in ensuring the people at Good Life experience a good life.

    Prerequisites:
    Ability to pass Background Investigation, Clean Child Abuse Registry Check (DSS), Clean/acceptable Driving Record Education: High School/GED.

    Experience:
    Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.

    Trainings provided:
    First Aid, CPR, Behavioral Intervention (UKERU), Medication Administration Certification, Waiver Orientation Certification.

  • Program Coordinator

    The Program Coordinator is a salaried, exempt position. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the operation of a specific program. Teaches, maintains and implements the philosophy of Good Life Corporation. This position is a combination of administrative, supervisory and direct support and duties.

    Prerequisites:
    Ability to pass Background Investigation, Clean Child Abuse Registry Check (DSS), Clean/acceptable Driving Record, Subject to credit history report.

    Education:
    Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Experience:
    Supervisory, financial management and program writing experience preferred. Extensive experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

    Trainings provided:
    First Aid, CPR, Behavioral Intervention (UKERU), Medication Administration Certification, Waiver Orientation Certification.
